The great thing about Pilates is that it’s for everyone. Our clients range from 15 to over 80 years old, and we teach everyone from teenagers and moms to busy professionals and Baby Boomers. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished athlete, or somewhere in between, come join us at Pilates by Bernadette. Your body and mind will appreciate it.
Pilates Strengthens The Core
It all takes place in your core or “powerhouse,” which is comprised of the lower abdominal muscles, the lower back and the buttocks. Conventional forms of exercise and athletic activities develop strength in your arms and legs, but do not effectively activate the deep “powerhouse” muscles.
